I love my son...

But man those little hooligans cause some issues! Before being a mommy you don't think about things like "plumbing" issues. You go potty when you have to and you go on with your day. Now before I sneeze I must concentrate on not pottying. And goodness knows if you want to "clean your system" you better start praying a week in advance! Never in my life has "plumbing" been such an issue!
And this lack of sleep thing really messes with your clock. You feel like you need a month or two of sleep to fully catch up! So with that sleep fog comes memory loss like none other! Being a waitress with memory issues reallllly isn't conducive to tips! You can only make so many jokes about the new baby keeping you up. Especially when he keeps getting older and the jokes keep getting more lame :) Oh the joys of being a mommy. Seeing that smile on his face and listening to his giggle makes every stretch mark, hour less of sleep and poopy diaper worth it. 

Before Mommy

Before we were mommies we were just two girls taking the world by storm.

We've laughed and cried. We've had ups and downs. But through all of our crazy life trials and accomplishments we've found each other.



Testing, Testing...1, 2, 3

I think God likes to test me. He sits back to see if I've learned anything. Some days I pass with flying colors while other days I fail miserably. Today was a test. I don't think I passed gracefully but inevitably I did pass. I didn't give up. I didn't walk away. I didn't let my fear take away the most amazing thing that's happened to me in a long time. I think hearing my mom say she hadn't seen me this happy in nearly five years stopped my running mind long enough to realize I needed to take a step back. Thankfully my wonderful man didn't ask me to be perfect or graceful. He accepts me as I am. God truly handed me an amazing guy.

Ready to Start

I'm ready to give this blog a go finally. I'm going to try and display my photo editing here as well as keep up-to-date on my hectic life. I have revealed myself here but I still plan to keep friends and family names changed. This is about me and my life, they have not chosen to have their lives splayed across cyber world. I've got too much to do tonight to sit and blog but I promise promise promise to be back after my mommy day!
